Gonna cut down on the usage of computer, cut down on reading. Cut down on anything that tires my eyes. Lol. Neway, while I'm here, might as well talk about what else if not movies again? Haha. Except it's one movie, well, spending more time reading manga scans and watching animes these days. Hehe. =P
Raging Phoenix
A thai film starring Jeeja Yanin, rising female star from Thailand.
Well, this movie here combines an element of the chinese drunken fist and drunken muay thai. Which also kick the bad ppl's $ by break dancing. So the main point here is the killer dance moves. Damn. It's sleek. Yet not that neat.
Well, the moves are nice, but somehow you just feels like, since it's dance moves, it shouldn't create such a great impact when the movement aren't that quick. So yea, that's the down point of it. But overall, it doesn't lack of actions. And the story ain't that bad. Even thou it's slow pace at first, but you want to know what do the bad ppl do with the girls they kidnapped.
She's amazing for her age as an actress who could do her own stunt. Nice. It's time a female kungfu girl comes along. What when you have Donnie, Jackie, Sammo, but...where are the ladies? Sigh~
That's all I guess, I'm pretty sure it receives more criticism than compliments. In some parts it deed seem like you're playing video games with the cgi and all. Still, cut it some slack and you'll find it enjoyable. With 3 B-Boys in the house. That is cast in the movie as Pig Shit, Bull Shit, Dog Shit. Haha, I found out that after I googled it, coz the subs are chinese. =P
It's just cool to bring the bad ppl down with dance music yea? Hehe. Watch the trailer here. ^^
i saw the movie, it's bad compared to her previous movie, chocolate..wud b cool to see her n tony jaa together in a movie, tat'll b sick..
+Somehow I knew u'll say that, haha, I've never watch choc thou, so I don't know about that, and Ong Bak ain't my kind of movie as well...haha...
