Live it Right

Life is about making Something out of Nothing at all. If you're able to do that, you're able to do Everything.

Painted Life

Life is like a flower, painted to perfection, yet at the end it wilts, fragile as it is, only the stem left unbroken.

Fallen Leaves

Like the autumn leaves, we fall at times, only to find ourselves blown away by the wind, and thus we reach yet another place.

Beauty:in:the:Eyes:of:the:Beholder

Today's topic is about two movies. Of which true love finds it way despite the odds.

First, I'll talk about a korean movie, with the title [The Relation of Face, Mind and Love], in chinese it's《情人眼里出西施》, literally meaning Beauty is in the lover's Eyes. Well, sth like beauty in the eyes of the beholder, but more specifically stating that whoever it is, he or she appears to be angelic looking in their lover's eyes.

The movie is about a girl that is deemed ugly, which is not really, but with a set of crooked teeth, she does look so. And then a guy who got into an accident had his sight impaired momentarily, and his doctor warned him that he may see beautiful things ugly, and ugly things beautiful. Because of that, he thought she is a pretty girl and that fell for each other. How could the ugly duckling resist the charm of a prince charming after all?

But then, one day his sights are healed and he realized the beauty princess he assumed to be is actually an ugly girl? What a shock he got, that he can't even recognize the girl. Then everything falls apart. The make-believe feelings, the make-believe happiness. Because she isn't who he imagined her to be. An ugly duckling.

Then the guy goes on living a flirtatious life with girls around him changing like him changing clothes, but then he realized. The pretty faces has no insights, couldn't make him as happy as he was when he was with her. Well, he find her back and then the story continues. It didn't just end like that, they did get married but then it had another twist in it. And that's not for me to say. ^^

Second, based on a true story adapted from an autobiography, [Front of the Class]. Based on the story of Brad Cohen.

A guy born with Tourette Syndrome, to simplify it, it's a kind of disorder that doesn't make the person unfit mentally or physically, but rather a disturbance. He keeps making sounds like animals every other minute, he couldn't control it, and like he put it, it's like a sneeze, it just keeps coming, and he keeps jerking his head as well as shaking his legs uncontrollably, And which of course, the sound and the shaking just gets on people's nerve, which includes his father.

Despite being look down upon ever since he was a child, he persevere and eventually became a teacher he never had, as his book title says. He wasn't very lucky in love, it's not easy to find girls that can stand the people staring his way every time he makes those annoying sounds isn't it? But then, he finally found the very girl that love him more for who he is inside, then all those relentless part of him. That is true love isn't it?

Every now and then, when people seems to give up hope on finding the very one that is true to them, there are people that has found theirs. So people, when there's hope, there's miracle. =)

PS: If I can look deep into the eyes instead of looking just using my eyes. Then I have achieved something deeper than what's shown.
